The wanted meter now goes up to six stars, one more than GTA 5.
But a crime only counts if someone sees it, or an alarm goes off.
Until the cops know who you are, your stars stay hollow.
Icons show what they know: what you look like, what you're wearing, your car, even camera footage.
So you lose them like a fugitive: change your outfit, ditch the car, or split up.
